Masjid an-Nabawi, in the heart of Madinah, is the second holiest mosque in Islam. It was originally built by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ after his migration from Makkah, and it is the blessed place where his noble grave (Rawdah) lies, under the iconic Green Dome.
The atmosphere of the mosque is filled with peace and spirituality — from the white retractable umbrellas in the courtyard to the shining marble floors and graceful minarets. For millions of Muslims, praying even two rakaʿat there and sending salām to the Prophet ﷺ is a lifelong dream and a deeply emotional experience.
