The Prophet ﷺ prayed the Friday prayer in the quarter of Banī Sālim, and the Companions – may Allah be pleased with them – built a mosque at the place of his prayer.
It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ rode from Qubāʾ on Friday and performed the Friday prayer among Banī Sālim, so the first Friday prayer that he led in Islam was among Banī Sālim.
